Cookie and Similar Technologies Policy

Last updated: August 2026

English translation. This text is provided to help you understand our cookie policy. The Spanish version, Política de Cookies, is the only legally binding one, and it prevails in the event of any discrepancy between the two.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that websites store on your device when you visit them. They allow the site to work properly, remember your preferences and, in some cases, analyse traffic and measure how well advertising works.

Which cookies do we use?

The first time you arrive we show you a banner with four categories of cookies and technologies, which you can accept or reject separately:

  • Essential (always on) — required for the site to work and to remember your own decision about cookies.
  • Preferences (only if you accept) — enable the Garoé conversational assistant.
  • Statistics (only if you accept) — Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity, to measure use of the website in aggregate.
  • Marketing (only if you accept) — Google Ads, to measure how well our advertising works.

Until you accept, no cookies or identifiers from the Statistics and Marketing categories are installed (Google Consent Mode v2, denied by default), and the Garoé assistant does not load.

_clck, _clsk, CLID, ANONCHK, MR, MUID, SM Microsoft Clarity Unique session identifier used to generate heatmaps and anonymous recordings of website use (clicks, scrolling, movement). Pseudonymised data. 1 day to 1 year Analytics
Assistant storage (ElevenLabs) ElevenLabs (Garoé) Enables the Garoé conversational assistant and its session state. Processes the text (and the audio, if you turn on voice) of your query; international transfer to the United States under Standard Contractual Clauses. Session Preferences

Technical cookies are stored in the browser's localStorage. Google Analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_*) are first-party cookies set on this site's own domain; other Google advertising cookies may be set from Google domains.

Third-party cookies

This website loads resources and services from the following external providers:

  • Google Ads (googletagmanager.com / google.com) — conversion measurement and advertising performance. It installs no cookies or identifiers until you accept the Marketing category. Google privacy policy.
  • Google Analytics 4 (googletagmanager.com / google-analytics.com) — statistical analysis of traffic, most visited pages, entry sources and aggregate behaviour. Google states that in Analytics 4 the IP address is used transiently for the connection and approximate geolocation, and is not logged or stored. It installs no cookies until you accept the Statistics category, although its tag loads with consent denied and sends cookieless signals to Google (advanced Consent Mode v2).
  • Microsoft Clarity (clarity.ms) — heatmaps (clicks, scrolling) and anonymous, pseudonymised session recordings, used to understand how the website is used and to spot usability problems. It masks sensitive content automatically. It does not load until you accept the Statistics category. Microsoft privacy policy.
  • ElevenLabs (elevenlabs.io) — AI conversational assistant called Garoé, available across the website (main pages and blog). It lets you chat or speak with an agent that helps you find information about the clinic's services and the blog articles. It only loads when you accept the "Preferences" cookie category. It processes the text and, if you turn on voice, the audio of your question. It does not store identifying personal data. ElevenLabs privacy policy.
  • Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com) — typefaces. Technical service with no tracking cookies.
  • Google Maps (maps.googleapis.com) — map showing where the clinic is, loaded through the Google Maps JavaScript API. It may set Google (third-party) cookies when the map loads.

How to give or withdraw your consent

The first time you visit, we show you a banner with three buttons:

  • Accept all — you turn on Preferences, Statistics and Marketing.
  • Essential only — you reject everything optional; only the essential cookies remain.
  • Manage — you open a panel where you can accept or reject each category separately and save your choice.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time, and it is as easy as giving it:

  • Click Cookie settings (also available in the footer of every page) to reopen the panel, change any category and save. Withdrawal takes effect immediately.
  • Alternatively, you can delete all site data from your browser settings; the next time you visit you will see the banner again.

How can I delete cookies?

You can delete or block cookies from your browser settings:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies
  • Firefox: Options → Privacy and security → Cookies
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage data
  • Edge: Settings → Privacy → Cookies

Bear in mind that blocking technical cookies may affect how the site works.

Legal basis

The use of technical cookies is covered by Article 22.2 of Ley 34/2002 (LSSICE), the Spanish Information Society and Electronic Commerce Services Act, and does not require prior consent, since they are strictly necessary in order to provide the service.

The use of advertising and analytics cookies (Google Ads, Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity) requires your express consent under Article 22.2 LSSICE and under the General Data Protection Regulation (Reglamento (UE) 2016/679, GDPR). Until you accept, these cookies remain blocked.
